How to Measure your Space
To get an accurate flooring estimate, it’s important to measure the full area of your space — not just the main part of the room. Use a tape measure to find the length and width of the room in meters, and multiply these to get the area in square meters (m²). Be sure to include any alcoves, recesses, or bay windows, and measure into all doorways, as flooring will usually need to continue into these areas. If your room isn’t a perfect rectangle, break it down into smaller sections, measure each one, and add them together. It’s always best to add 10cm to both directions to allow for cutting and waste. Yes – we offer a free measuring service when you're purchasing flooring through us. We’ll take accurate measurements of your space, including any alcoves and doorways, to ensure your quote is correct and you're not ordering more than you need..
Can you remove my old flooring?
Yes, we can uplift and dispose of your old flooring for an additional fee. Just let us know in advance so we can include it in your quote and allow enough time during fitting.
How long will the fitting take?
Most domestic jobs are completed within 1–2 days depending on the size and type of flooring. We’ll give you a clearer timescale once we’ve measured your space and know what’s involved.
Do I need to move furniture before fitting?
Ideally yes, the area should be as clear as possible before we arrive. If you need help moving heavy furniture, let us know – we may be able to assist for a small extra charge.
Is your flooring compatible with underfloor heating?
Yes – many of our vinyl, LVT, laminate and engineered wood floors are suitable for use with underfloor heating. Let us know if you have it, so we can guide you toward the right options.
Do you offer guarantees or warranties?
